GENERAL PURPOSE PUMPS

Southern Cross “Star-Line” Motorpumps offer top efficiency and reliability for a full range of general-purpose water transfer applications in industry, building services and irrigation.

INTERNATIONAL STANDARD

Conforming with ISO 2858 Standard means dimensional interchangeability with other makes of pumps, manufactured to the same international standard, however because of design superiority Southern Cross “Star-Line” Motorpumps exceed the performance standard.

ISO “STAR-LINE” FEATURES

These Australian designed and manufactured Southern Cross “Star-Line” Motorpumps are readily available in a full range of sizes, backed not only by an Australia wide service and spare parts network, but with an extensive group of international stock and service centres.

Special design features of Southern Cross “Star-Line” Motorpumps include:

  • The use of standard off-the-shelf foot and flanged electric motors with highly accurate clamp on shaft extensions.
  • Taper mounted and keyed impeller for easy removal from shaft during servicing and positive locking during operation.
  • Heavy-duty stainless steel shaft extension for safe operation at high speed.
  • AS1830/T260 cast iron volute for added safety.
  • Reusable “O” ring body seal.
  • Hydraulically and dynamically balanced impellers.
  • Highly efficient suction performance from double curvature impeller vanes.

“STAR-LINE” PUMP MOUNTING

Wells and other restricted areas are no problem for Southern Cross “Star-Line” Motorpumps. Mounting is simple and efficient in all applications.

“STAR-LINE” SPACE SAVING

A substantial cost saving feature of Southern Cross “Star-Line” Motorpumps is the reduced space requirement over conventional long coupled centrifugal pump units. In building design plantroom space can be reduced substantially for big savings on floor area. Where space is already limited “Star-Line” Motorpumps provide a space saving and economical solution.
