It looks as though the 2008 macadamia harvest season is well and truly underway.  Kernel price seems to be on everybody’s mind at the moment, so lets hope the price is fair to all concerned.

We mentioned last month that our stock supplies of the MEAAT TSAP 240 mulchers were exhausted.  New shipments will arrive in the next couple of weeks, however the price has jumped a little to $12,375.00 including GST. Don’t forget that these units have as standard equipment, hammer blades, rear roller, hydraulic offset, raker bars and an overrun gearbox input shaft for PTO driveline braking safety. We suggest that if you are in the market for one of the most popular orchard mulchers in the district to secure your order today as a few of the first shipment due have been sold.

Antonio Carraro has advised of a price increase which takes effect from March 1st 2008. The increase has been unavoidable due to the high price of raw materials like steel and petroleum based products. The good news is that the new model TRX10400 will be landing very soon on our shores to increase the profile of this tractor brand. The features of this new model are very much the same as the TRX9400 which is a very popular model in the Antonio Carraro range in this area, but the added tractor power of 95 Din hp from the compact VM diesel will make this tractor exceptional in the orchards.

We have a very good range of Seris 12-volt electric Spot Spray units from 60ltrs to 200ltrs capacity. These are great for the home gardener to the farmer requiring a well-built Australian designed sprayer for the smaller tasks around the yard or on the farm. We have these larger units available on trailers with booms which are great for the larger garden areas or as a skid type unit to put on the back of utes for spot spraying on the farm.
