Well it looks like another macadamia harvest season has come to an end. Preparations are now under way in tree pruning which means orchard mulchers need to be taken out and readied for work. Sprayer calibration time is around again. It seems that after a couple of Field Days in the last month, many growers have been made aware of the importance of good volume spraying to try and control the Husk Spot problems in the area. Many stated that their spraying volumes were far short of what is recommended. We offer a sprayer calibration service or, if you require, test kits are available that belong to the AMS which are in our store in Lismore. If you require a sprayer calibration, please arrange for the use of the calibration kits or arrange for us to calibrate your sprayer.
We have two Branson tractors on special pricing for August (unless sold). The Branson 6530 4wd ROPS unit is a demonstrator unit and it is now ready for sale. Normal pricing on this tractor is $45,500.00 including delivery charges and GST. This month this tractor is priced at $34,540.00 including delivery charges and GST. Only one tractor is offered at this price and it is available at our Lismore store.
Further to the Branson tractor special pricing is another Branson 6530 4wd ROPS tractor fitted with a standard loader. Normal pricing is $54,700.00 including delivery charges and GST. This month this tractor is priced at $39,800.00 including delivery charges and GST. Both tractors offered are subjected to prior sale.
Spraying season also prompts us to advise that we have available for demonstration a Tornado trailing orchard sprayer fitted with the AirSerg II conveyor. Over the past few months we have delivered a good number of these units and our thanks go to our customer for their business. Our demonstrator unit is fitted with the Arag Bravo 180 electronic controller which monitors flow rate, speed, pressure and hectare output. This is the future of horticultural spraying.
