Well it looks like this macadamia harvesting season has come pretty much to a close with many growers undertaking their last harvest prior to tree hedging which has commenced in some orchards in the district.
Flowering has been prolific which indicates a possible early start to the spraying season for the 2010/2011 season. We have a number of sprayer calibration jobs in the system at the moment and I remind you that if you require your sprayer unit to be calibrated for this season, to please contact us so we can place you in our calibration register.
Soil Profiling should commence very soon in the orchards. We have available for demonstration the Superior Soil Profiler that is used to undertake this task. Please contact us if you would like a demonstration in your orchard.
We also will be continuing our special pricing on the MEAAT TSAP 240 orchard mulchers for August. The special NO TRADE price is $11,495.00 incl. GST. This mulcher has the standard features of hydraulic side shift, hammer blades, rear roller, rear raker tynes, heavy duty head stock and in built over-run facility in the gearbox.
