Harvest residues, chopping gives many advantages: regular humus supply is necessary for soil fertility, parasite destruction, better conditions for plant growing. The MEAAT shredders 3 basic criteria are 1st quality chopping, high efficiency with the TS/300 being able to mulch at up to 3.5 hectares per hour and first quality manufacture. For this reason our machines are exported around the world.

  • Heavy duty gearbox.
  • The frame is made of heavy duty steel sheet and heavy RHS.
  • Heavy duty transmission arm.
  • Lengthened holes on gearbox holder and adjustment on pulley to adjust belt tensions.
  • The rotor rotating speed is a basic element to obtain a 1st quality chop. For our machines we select a rotating speed of 1900rpm for a linear velocity of 60 metres per second on the blade ends.
  • The rotor is the show piece of our machines, the quality and thickness of the materials used guarantees long endurance and reliability, the perfect workmanship and its weight guarantee a considerable inertia and consequently a high forward speed and low HP required.
  • A heavy duty rotor requires a sophisticated balancing technique, our rotors are electronically balanced and they are free from vibrations the first day as well as after many years.
  • Extra heavy duty bearings are used on the rotor.
  • The chain draw give high flexibility to the 3rd point linkage allowing the machine to cross even the most rough soils.
  • The rotor can be fitted with several different types of blades (see below).
  • The machines are painted with 1st quality paints.
