Laser Chainsaw A new standard in pneumatic chain pruners |
The latest design of pneumatic chainsaw from Campagnola not only achieves the standard set by its predecessor, the M3, it surpasses it both in power and safety features. Power. Through better design and engineering the Laser now boasts more power. In fact, approximately 200 rpm more at the sprocket than the M3. Safety. The Laser has several new features to give added safety, including a chain brake which is operated by the top hand guard if the chain should jam or “kick-out”. The lower hand guard is also wider now to protect the fingers of the operating hand if the chain were to break and whip around. Apart from the automatic spring operated safety which is standard on all Campagnola pneumatic tools, they have also added a second safety which is operated manually for enhanced security for the operator. Apart from these new features the Laser can be mounted on a Campagnola Telescopic pole allowing the operator to prune as high as 5 metres above ground level without use of a ladder, and with its automatic bar oiler it is ideally suited to this application. The magnesium cast body gives great strength while still keeping the weight down. The Laser is available in 2 bar sizes, 8 inch or 10 inch, both with a 1/4” chain which means the Laser can cut diameters up to 150mm or 200mm respectively
